After a fire burned down her first gallery in Fortuna, CA and Covid closed the second in nearby Ferndale, Ms. Daetwiler packed up her family and moved to Maine. There, with her nine chickens and a dog, she paints things the way she sees them, creating windows into other worlds through imaginative storytelling. She is a self taught artist whos work often contains hidden elements and a twist or two if you look closely.

Loving this diamond painting. Its very sticky, the cloth like backing flattens so well even after being in weird and bent positions while working on the project. The drills are very vibrant and easy to work with. All in all i am very very happy. I also really like that there wasnt alot of confetti. Its big chunks of colour so you can place many drills at once. Very satisfying!

The colors are absolutely stunning — all those purples, blues, and pinks sparkle like crazy! The rendering is beautiful and the details turned out so clear. It’s a big one, but totally worth the time. Definitely one of my favorites!
