Diamond painting kits are perfect for Christmas in July crafting. Each comprehensive kit includes everything needed to create stunning holiday artwork that captures the magic of Christmas all year round. Painting with diamonds is an easy technique to master, making it accessible to all ages. Simply follow the pattern, place tiny resin gems onto a coded adhesive canvas to create a sparkling yuletide masterpiece!
The therapeutic nature of placing individual diamonds can also help counterbalance the high-energy activities of summer. After a morning beach trip or hiking adventure, settling into a diamond painting session provides peaceful downtime that still feels productive. So, while you enjoy painting with diamonds and getting a head start on your Christmas crafting, you’ll be restoring your energy and outlook.

If you are new to diamond painting or just looking for a quick Christmas in July crafting fix, Diamond Art Club’s® Christmas-themed Sparkle Pals™ will bring holiday cheer in no time. Mini Dazzles™ provide another fun, bite-sized way to create festive joy. Complete them on your own for some relaxing self-care or with friends and family for crafty bonding time away from screens.

Making beach snowmen is a fun summer craft that turns beloved winter mascots into sun-loving characters. White sand collected from recent beach trips is perfect for this project, but craft sand works equally well.
A basic beach snowman requires three different-sized clear containers filled with layered sand to create the classic three-sphere shape. For the finishing touches, small shells, sea glass or colorful pebbles replace traditional coal buttons. Instead of a scarf and winter cap, dress your beach snowman in a sun hat and sunglasses.
Capture summer’s abundant sunlight and celebrate Christmas in July with these easy-to-make Christmas tree suncatchers. All you need is transparent contact paper, tissue paper, sequins, glitter, scissors and a string for hanging. Cut Christmas tree shapes from clear contact paper and then arrange tissue paper squares, sequins and glitter between two sheets. When hung in sunny windows, these creations cast colorful patterns and set a festive mood.
Create one-of-a-kind designs by using different shades of green tissue paper, adding star-shaped sequins or beads for ornaments and incorporating metallic elements that catch and reflect light. You can also use leftover drills from your diamond painting kits—it's a great way to make the most of what you already have!

Summer snow globes reimagine traditional winter scenes with tropical elements, offering a unique blend of winter and summer. Fill Mason jars with a mixture of clear glycerin and water. Instead of adding “snow,” use blue glitter for a rainy effect or white glitter to mimic pristine sand. You could even use glitter shapes like shimmering suns or flowers instead of regular glitter.
Decorate the base with a beach scene featuring seashells, sand and small tropical decorations. Think palm trees, flamingos, sharks, surfboards and other seaside essentials. A waterproof LED light installed in the base illuminates the scene and adds the perfect finishing touch.
Transform collected sea glass into beautiful holiday decorations by making ornaments. Drill small holes in larger pieces of sea glass and use thin wire or fishing line to create hanging ornaments. Place smaller pieces inside clear glass ornaments along with a bit of sand. You can also glue small sea glass fragments and shells to flat ceramic ornaments to create beautiful year-round decorations.
Looking for a quick, satisfying project that’s perfect for little ones? Try these popsicle stick Christmas trees! Arrange wooden craft sticks in triangular shapes to form a tree, and secure them with craft glue. Paint them green and decorate with small beads, sequins or mini pom-poms. For even more festive flair, add tiny bells, ribbon and other decorative elements. When finished, add a string or ribbon for hanging.
Seashell wreaths bring a beachy vibe to traditional holiday decorations. Attach collected shells to a wreath form using hot glue or a strong craft adhesive. Vary shell sizes and types for visual interest, and fill gaps with smaller shells, sea glass, driftwood, seagrass, etc.
Add tropical elements like dried starfish, coral pieces or artificial tropical flowers. When finished, seashell wreaths work perfectly on porches or as unique indoor decorations.

This summer, turn boring weekends into festive celebrations with the Christmas in July crafts above. Whether you and your kids work on them for fun or to get a head start on making holiday gifts, you’ll have a blast with these projects that blend summer fun with holiday magic!
