A self-taught artist, Bonnie spent the first 30 years of her life on her family’s horse farm in upstate NY. If she wasn’t riding horses, she was sketching them. Although the farm ceased operation in 2000, she continues to be inspired by her life there and by the mountains, valleys and villages that surround it. In 2007 she designed an ornament for the Blue Room Christmas Tree in the White House. Bonnie and her husband Scott still live next door to her family’s farm with their dog Marley and cats, Mitty and Scooter.

I'm in the process of working on this canvas right now. It's lots of fun. I'm really enjoying all the animals in the painting. The grass gets a little tedious and is a little slow going but the pumpkins and the figures are fun and the tree is great. Really recommend this canvas to anyone who loves Halloween scenes.

Lots of quirky fun details: the dog's scarf, a face in the tree, the witch's cauldron, etc. More to be discovered. I have just weeks to finish this before October 1 when I want to display it. Vibrant colors. This is my third piece by this artist!

This is my first square project and I have completed about a quarter of it in a little over 2 weeks. Quite a bit of confetti where I started but it's soo worth it when you take it all in. I can't wait to finish and frame this gorgeous DP upon completion.
