Maryline Cazenave is a graphic designer and animal lover based near Paris, France who has been creating cat and dog artwork since 2008. After getting a degree in fashion, she worked as a cloth designer for a couple of years before turning to art and illustration. She started selling original paintings to Parisian boutiques and pet owners before gradually turning to art licensing as her main focus. Her art can be found on many products such as greeting cards, mugs and cross stitch kits. She has now been licensing her art for more than a decade, and her portfolio contains hundreds of adorable kitten and puppy designs that will melt your heart.

I saw someone else here make a slight adjustment of 'Hiss Off' and that sounded so cute so I plan on working that in as well, once i get to the mug. Super cute overall as well of course, and high quality as DAC does.
I’m just about to finish this adorable kitty., which is so much fun to do. Luv luv luv it.

I enjoyed doing this piece very much. I actually did the entire thing with my off hand after shoulder surgery. Just enough blocking that I didn’t get too tired, but the background is printed that teal color so you are only doing the kitten and the mug. The only thing I didn’t like was the “**** off”, even though it’s a common phrase. I changed it to “hiss off” instead. It conveys the same message without being rude.

This is a very cute painting, but it was challenging for me to complete because of the square drills. My technique improved as I neared completion and it turned out ok.

Quick to complete and cute from a distance. Rendering was not the best and the glue was less than ideal. It was a shame but thankfully it was only a small size project.
