I decorated it to welcome guests during the New Year.
The vivid colors make it stand out in the entranceway.
The Japanese text in the upper right corner has nothing to do with the New Year, so I rendered it myself and added a complementary color with mica powder.
I used a 140cm ruler.

A beautiful piece of art. Round drills which is a change for me but this really looks spectacular. The squares grid pattern over the whole work makes an ancient Japanese subject somehow very modern. It's a lovely and thoroughly enjoyable painting and a real talking point! Fairly quick to do and some good areas of colour blocking mixed with confetti too. Love this!
