I had been using the plastic straighteners until I ordered this one. I love the stainless, much greater control and strength.

I give this tool three stars because I find it less effective in straightening drill rows when compared to effectiveness of plastic or polished steel straighteners that I have acquired from other companies. Also, this is a push-in tip, which if not secured very tightly into the diamond painting pen will twist when trying to straighten a row. I securely attached mine using plumber's tape, but even then it occasionally twists. If this continues I will use a bead of hot glue to see it that secures it any better. The quality of steel is excellent, so this tip will remain strong and unbending for years. The edge is wide enough to be a safe straightener with no risk of cuts or scrapes when using it. I do like that because safety first, always.
Thank you diamond art club! I had an inexpensive one that I was using and it was too thick. This new one is much thinner and slides through the rows much easier.
I bought many plastic straighteners from Amazon, but they were always large and unwieldy. Having this metal piece that attaches to even the default pens that come with the kits has been majorly helpful.
I can pop it on any time to straighten out a row of drills as I work.
Had my eye on this for awhile. I bought a twist pen and I thought it would fit on the other end, but no luck. Thankfully, it fit perfectly on the white pens that come with the kits, so it’s added on there! Great tool to add to my collection!
I got the stainless steel straightener because the plastic ones bent to easily and did not really work well for straightening rows on squares. Problem solved! No warping!

I have several of these, not because I "need" more than one, but because I diamond paint in several locations. I like to use these for straightening, so I don't get more putty than necessary on my drills when moving them. I keep one for travel and a couple at home and they work really great!
