Outstanding results! The canvas was gorgeous and high quality, symbols clear and easy to read. I will forever purchase all of my diamond paintings from Diamond Art Club!
I love how clear the canvas is. It is super soft, the drills are magnificent, and its is just a joy to work on it!
I've ordered from 3 different companies, and Diamond Art Club is the best one hands down! It's beautiful compared to the filmsy material you get from other places. I was very pleased and happ and will never order anywhere else again.
What is diamond art painting?
Diamond art painting is a meditative, artistic craft which involves painting with diamonds. You place hundreds of sparkling resin diamonds, one-by-one, on an adhesive color-coded canvas similar to paint-by-numbers or cross-stitch. Diamond art painting allows you to create vivid, shimmering works of art to enjoy year after year. Click here to read more.
What's the difference between round and square diamond drills?
Round diamonds are generally preferred by beginners, as they are easier and faster to pick up and place on the canvas with the applicator.
Square diamonds fit together very neatly, with no gaps, and are preferred when creating larger canvases.
You can learn more about the difference between round and square diamonds here.
What's a partial drill vs full drill canvas?
You can have full drill and partial drill in either round or square diamonds.
Full drill canvases are those in which the entire canvas is covered by diamonds. Full drills give the diamond painting that mosaic look, especially if you’re using a full drill diamond painting with square drills.
Partial drills, on the other hand, are canvases only partially covered by diamonds. Partial drills are normally used to emphasize part of an image. For example, if you had a partial canvas with a front porch scene and a cat in the foreground, you would want to “paint” the cat with drills to create a focus on this part of the image.
How long will it take me to complete a diamond art painting?
The length of a diamond art painting project will vary depending on the size of the grid and the level of detail. The more detailed the painting, the more intricacies you’ll have to add and pay attention to.
You can also control the speed at which you finish a diamond art painting by working on it as frequently or infrequently as you’d like.
We recommend first-time painters to start with a smaller canvas. However, if you find a painting that inspires you, you should definitely get that one regardless of size. All our kits are suitable for all levels.
