Beginning as a welder in New York, Mark Davern set out for Texas where he switched to tattooing. When Hurricane Allen destroyed the shop, he returned home, married his high school sweetheart, and found artistic success in woodworking. Mark and Judy had two wonderful children together, but, when she passed away from cancer in 1992, he picked up the pieces and moved his family to Southwest, FL. After remarrying, he and his new wife began taking ballroom dance lessons. Mark also plunged into oil painting and hasn't looked back since.

I previously left a review before finishing this piece. I have finished it and it was just a lot of fun working on this one. The video I am providing shows the sparkle that I fully expect to show under glass. I really do appreciate the quality of the canvas and drills this company uses. And I have my eye on a few more to do!
If you have someone who loves motorcycles and is looking for a fun project, grab this one.

I have totally enjoyed working on this one. We’re a Harley Davidson family so this image caught my eye immediately.
Having worked with both round and square drills, I found I loved the ease of round for this image. The canvas is color coded well with the drills making the cavas around the drills virtually disappears. And so much sparkle! My plan is to frame, under glass, for my son to hang where he works on his bikes. Hopefully, I’ll remember to review again with a photo for those who may be thinking of glass, too. If you have a love of motorcycles, you should enjoy this image!
