After a fire burned down her first gallery in Fortuna, CA and Covid closed the second in nearby Ferndale, Ms. Daetwiler packed up her family and moved to Maine. There, with her nine chickens and a dog, she paints things the way she sees them, creating windows into other worlds through imaginative storytelling. She is a self taught artist whos work often contains hidden elements and a twist or two if you look closely.

I enjoyed working on this kit so much! It was my first DAC kit and it was an absolute pleasure to make. Everything I needed really was included in the kit. The drills and canvas were very good quality and I truly feel that the quality is worth the cost. I can't wait to get my next DAC kit started!

Endless Cheese was my 2025 entry for Drills and Chills and I loved it so much I finished it way ahead of schedule! The painting just makes you happy to look at it and it was wonderful to work on. It was a perfect size for this event and has a ton of colors. The rendering of the shading alone on this picture is amazing.

Cute! Nice glue, great drills and rendering. I do wish DAC would consider more AB's or maybe switch to glitter drills which are easy to place in place of fairy dust. Fairy dust cannot be seen once picture is done and hanging up. Only up close, very close, but that's just my opinion.
