Anne-Julie was born in 1980 in a small town in eastern France, and is now living in the south near the sea. While still very young, she developed a passion for art and crafts. After studying and graduating from Beaux-Arts, she became a freelance illustrator. She worked for various publishers all over the world. Her work appeared in books and magazines, and she took part in numerous Art shows in the USA. She developed a world that has both a dark side, inspired by the adult she became, and a bright and colorful side, which is a kind of reminiscence of her childhood. Her inspiration comes from fairytales, inner feelings, nature, music & movies. She is now a full time digital artist, and sells her art online.

This was my very first diamond painting I've ever done. I have a good friend who suggested starting with DAC so I did. I loved this image for it's whimsical, feminine feel. I found the process to be simple and very peaceful. I had all of the supplies I needed and I'm very happy with the final result. I have bought several more DAC kits since and love the quality!
