As the artist behind Kewpies (Floriferous Hummingbirds), I want to share a little insight. I am very careful about licening my work. I always hope the final product will reflect the heart and detail that went into the original painting. This kit absolutely exceeded my expectations. I purchased three myself—and I’m so glad I did.
I gave two of them away as gifts, and both recipients were thrilled! They started working on their kits right away, which made me so happy to see. The quality is truly beautiful. The color rendering is vibrant yet nuanced, with careful attention to preserving the softness and warmth of the original. The canvas is substantial and well-crafted, and the diamonds have a lovely brilliance that brings the artwork to life in a new and joyful way. I especially love the inclusion of the Aurora Borealis and Fairy Dust diamonds—they add such a magical dimension.
Full transparency: yes, I created the artwork—but this is an honest review from an artist who is moved by how lovingly this kit was produced. It’s a wonderful thing to see your own work translated with such integrity. Diamond Art Club did an amazing job, and I’m honored to have my work included in their collection.

This canvas is so cute. Had to look up the words in the title and it refers to the kewpie dolls from the 30s. Chubby and cute and full of flowers. Canvas of excellent quality and colorful. Diamond dot is a very relaxing hobby.
