Venom™

Had a great time working on this kit. The special drills are charted wonderfully with the render- i customized the tongue to match the comics. There is a LOT- a LOT- of 310 colorblocking in this kit, but its well worth it and makes sense with the artwork. The colors pop so well with the black. If you burn out from colorblocking, I recommend alternating between the top and bottom sections or rows to throw some confetti in there. Have a ruler handy for the buildings since they are very geometric- i actually had a harder time with those than the 310.

The rendering is absolutely stunning on this kit. I enjoyed all the special drills that were in it that made the art come alive. One of my favorites.

Venom was unicorn and I'm so happy to create him now.

You might look at this canvas and go "Oh wow, that's a lot of black," but let me tell you NOTHING will prepare you for the sheer amount of 310 drills you will be placing on this canvas. I was expecting it—in fact I even love big sections of color blocks—but I was not prepared for this under any circumstance. Don't get me wrong, it didn't hinder my outlook on the absolute gorgeousness this piece is, but if you aren't ready for it, it might for you.

The rendering on the canvas is fantastic, each symbol is perfectly clear and legible, which is a common perk of Diamond Art Club canvases. The drill field is tight without being too tight (though this is still my first square drill canvas, so I've had a few drills popping up out of my own inexperience on squares). As always, the choice in special drills is done quite well as well, accentuating the glows of the buildings as well as the highlights on Venom himself.

I'm only just getting started on this canvas but I already know this is going to be one of my favorite pieces I have ever completed.

The Venom one came out so well! I wish they would make more like him. We got him framed and in the man cave and we could not be happier. A lot of dark colors just makes the other colors pop more. Want to try Black panther next if I can find him.

Really fun canvas! Loads of 🔳 but don’t let that deter you. The drills are really nice and barely any trash. This is heaven for all those color blocking addicts out there!

I completed this kit for my fiancé. While the final product is beautiful, it was very hard for me to get through because of all of the 310 color blocking. The specials drills were amazingly placed. Just enough in all the right areas. Overall, I would rate this kit a 7/10
