After a fire burned down her first gallery in Fortuna, CA and Covid closed the second in nearby Ferndale, Ms. Daetwiler packed up her family and moved to Maine. There, with her nine chickens and a dog, she paints things the way she sees them, creating windows into other worlds through imaginative storytelling. She is a self taught artist whos work often contains hidden elements and a twist or two if you look closely.

This is absolutely a beautiful rendering for this project. Since it is my zodiac sign, it had to be my very first painting. It is extremely confetti heavy so it has been challenging, but I've probably learned more with regards to processes. Used this canvas in the Fairy Tales and Folklore Event.
