Educated around the late seventies in the heyday of St. Martins School of Art in London, Steve is a fine example of someone who has gone on from that period to become a well established, internationally known, award winning illustrator. With a large and diverse catalogue of work, many of his paintings have become collectors pieces including his rural country scenes, British nostalgia, jungle wildlife, and other lovely images. I absolutely loved completing this piece.
I started kitting this kit up on 1st April and started placing the beads from 3rd April.
It took me 17 days in total to complete this working varying hours from 2 hours to most of the day on weekends.
The finished piece is great and I had plenty of beads to get the piece finished with enough left over to store as spares.

This is my second DAC kit and I am absolutely loving it. The colors are so bright and pretty. I haven't done much as I started 1/04 but as you can see from the pic, the finished product is very clear. The drills snap nicely into place and there were only a total of 3 beads that were not in the correct colour bags upon sorting.
This is a really lovely change from Gandalf and the balrog!
