With a BA from UCSB and an MFA from Claremont, Mr. Allen truly enjoys the Southern California lifestyle, pursuing his passions for surfing and design while exhibiting in the greater Los Angeles area and teaching art at the college level. However, his recent appreciation for travel, Mediterranean antiquities, climate, and light has influenced his color palette and subject matter a bit.
