Beautiful painting but issues with diamonds
I love lighthouses and the colors in this, so that is why I chose this kit. It is a pretty painting but it’s taking almost double the time to do it because there are so many junk diamonds. Usually with paintings, I get some junk here and there with the dark colors which is usually no big deal because you send enough to finish. With this painting it’s every color. I only get to work on this on the weekends so it usually takes me a long time to get the paintings done as it is. Usually a painting this size takes me about 4 to maybe 4 1/2 months to do. I started this one on 8/30/25 and I don’t think I’m going be done with it until about early April, I hope. Also, no matter what I do I can’t get the diamonds to lay down right. They all seem to be different sizes. I use the single along with the multi placers and they are all DAC brands. I use the straighteners as well but nothing seems to help. With all that said, I don’t know if I just got a bad kit or what. Here is a pic of some of the diamonds I have collected and that’s not all of them! I’ve never had issues like this with all the other paintings I’ve bought from DAC. I’ve got 9 more kits waiting on me to do. 😁.
