After a fire burned down her first gallery in Fortuna, CA and Covid closed the second in nearby Ferndale, Ms. Daetwiler packed up her family and moved to Maine. There, with her nine chickens and a dog, she paints things the way she sees them, creating windows into other worlds through imaginative storytelling. She is a self taught artist whos work often contains hidden elements and a twist or two if you look closely.

This canvas came out beautifully. There was little trash drills and the colors were vibrant.

I love it.Only start it and already the quality is immense
The handsome tiger was truly a joy to watch unfold on canvas. The AB drills added just enough bling to make the whole piece “pop”. Colors were perfectly blended to make the background scene very realistic. Very proud of this one!

I have been wanting to do this painting for a while. I’m glad that I pulled it out of my stash. It was a pleasure to do but only one thing is I ran out of two colors and had to look through my stash of drills to try to find them, but it came out really really nice
