This was such a fun canvas to do as a palette cleanser between larger projects. Nice balance between confetti and color blocking, and the drills and canvas were top tier.

Jojo by Richard Lorenz is absolutely adorable and was such a fun project to work on! The 13" x 13" canvas has 50 colors, including 2 Aurora Borealis (AB) and 3 Fairy Dust that add a beautiful extra sparkle to the finished piece.
One of my favorite things about this design is the color palette. Jojo is brought to life with gorgeous greens, blues, browns, yellows, and oranges that give his feathers wonderful richness and depth. The soft pastel colors surrounding him create a lovely contrast, making him really stand out on the canvas.
The adhesive was strong and consistent from edge to edge, with no dry spots or overly slick areas. I also had very few trash drills, and there were plenty of extras included for every color, so I never had to worry about running out.
The only minor challenge I encountered was with two symbols on the chart that looked very similar—a white circle (#5) and a white circle with a line through it (#35). Since the corresponding colors were also close in shade and placed next to each other in some of the darker areas of Jojo's body, I had to pay a little extra attention when multi-placing. It wasn't a major issue, but it's something to be aware of as you work through those sections.
Overall, this was a delightful project from start to finish. Jojo is full of charm and personality, and I couldn't be happier with how he turned out. He'll be proudly displayed alongside Mojo and Balancing Act, making a wonderful trio of Richard Lorenz designs in my…
