Nearly finished this kit. This is probably my favourite kit to do other than smiling tiger . Only comment would be that there are odd bits that are not very sticky.

His fur is very realistic looking; the various shades of browns and golds give the picture a rich and dramatic look and his golden eyes are mesmerising. Cheetah is happily hanging next to The Smiling Tiger and they look fabulous together.

So I unboxed this one and kitted up, 2 days ago, and started working on it today! This is my first experience with the putty pen and I have to say that I’m not a big fan of it. I tried to place some drills with it and the feel of the drills after putting them down, is not smooth. I switched back to the pink wax and the drills don’t have the rough feel. I think I’m staying with the pink wax. I hope I can buy another pen that uses the pink wax. Not sure of the pens that are currently featured on the site, if they use pink wax.
Getting back to the painting. Holy black! 🤣. I try to alternate some colors while working the black area. I chose this painting because of the Cheetah’s eyes 👀. 😊
