I’m so stoked with this kit, it’s so beautiful! It was the perfect mixture between colour blocking and light confetti 🩷 also the colour palette is incredible!
My only con is that the skin tone rendering seemed off (way too red - she looks sunburnt, particularly her hands). This is okay once the final picture comes together, but during the process I definitely thought the rendering on the box looked way more accurate than the actual final product.
I’ve noticed this feedback for other DAC kits (e.g. Yume and Mermaid Tea Time). I think DAC hasn’t quite figured out skin tone rendering yet when there are pink or purple shades / undertones. DAC drills are super saturated and vibrant, which looks great for backgrounds etc. but strange for some faces and hands.
Overall, gorgeous picture and SO FUN to complete 💖✨ I love this artist!! Still so worth it!

I loved working on this serene image. The glow effect created by BearBrickJia and the rendering artists at DAC can't be beaten! I'm excited to frame her ASAP. She was a fun mix of color blocking and nice color combos. I enhanced her nail color to fit my personality; I enjoyed every minute of working on her!

I love this artist and all her work is amazing. You can tell that this is an older painting though. The rendering of skin tones is a bit off. All in all a great painting nevetheless. Great size point.
