Sonia Lazo

Sonia is an illustrator and tattoo artist from tiny, tropical El Salvador, who started drawing as a way to express themselves and as a form of therapy. Since then, they have published the book, Witch, Please!, have their own brand of clothing and continue to enjoy making weird, adorable things. Their work is an exploration of magic, colors, emotions, identity, and silly creatures.

Surprisely please

Bought it for my niece's birthday. She love pink. I don't. But this is such a cute kit and it is working up so fast with all that color blocking. I'm actually like the pink now.

Kooky cats

This is a great canvas for beginners. Lots of color blocking not an overwhelming amount of colors included in the kit. I love the sparkle it has and watching each of the cats come to "life" as you work through each one.

Shiny Sparkly Sassy Cats

I am not a cat person, but I 100% fell in love with this painting and was so excited to finally work on it. With all of the color blocking, this project worked up super fast. There was a lot of ABs on the cats, which makes for some extra shiny sparkly sassy looking cats!

Color Blocking City

This is an adorable painting. I love the character of each and every cat! When a diamond painting is only nine colors they have the challenge of picking those colors to be perfect! And they definitely did that with this one. The colors look great together. Loooots of color blocking, as you can see, so if you’re into that this is a definite buy for you. There are some quality issues with the round drills but to my understanding DAC is trying to improve the quality of their rounds.

How to use

This meditative craft involves placing hundreds of sparkling resin rhinestones, one-by-one, on an adhesive color-coded canvas to create a vivid, shimmering work of art.

Step 1

Dip the tip of the applicator tool into the strip of wax

Step 2

Pick up each diamond by pressing the applicator to the diamond’s rounded, faceted side

Step 3

Apply each diamond to the adhesive canvas template, placing it based on the color-coded chart
