About the artist

Maryline Cazenave

Maryline Cazenave is a graphic designer and animal lover based near Paris, France who has creating cat and dog artwork since 2008. After getting a degree in fashion, she worked as a cloth designer for a couple of years before turning to art and illustration. She started selling original paintings to Parisian boutiques and pet owners before gradually turning to art licensing as her main focus. Her art can be found on many products such as greeting cards, mugs and cross stitch kits. She has now been licensing her art for more than a decade, and her portfolio contains hundreds of adorable kitten and puppy designs that will melt your heart.

My Man Murphy

I am in love with this beauty. My Yorkie looked just like this little cutie. I had to put Murphy, he was 11 years old but he had cancer and we had to make the choice to say goodbye to him, so this is in his honor, for all the love he gave me unconditionally.

Super Cute But Ran Low on Drills

This canvas turned out super cute. My only complaint is that there were several colors that I ended up with just enough or only one or two spares, which wouldn’t allow for any spillage. I do know that DAC will replace under warranty, but it takes a while to get replacement. I would rather have a few spare and not have to stress as much.

Creased canvas

This was my first partial diamond painting and sadly I didn’t enjoy it. There were creases in the canvas that just wouldn’t come out. I tried leaving it under heavy boxes, I tried ironing it. The creases spoiled the experience for me.

How to use

This meditative craft involves placing hundreds of sparkling resin rhinestones, one-by-one, on an adhesive color-coded canvas to create a vivid, shimmering work of art.

Dip the tip of the applicator tool into the strip of wax

Pick up each diamond by pressing the applicator to the diamond’s rounded, faceted side
