Star Maker

This was my second ever square drill. I found it to be a little more challenging than The Empress. The grid is not as "tight". On the Empress, I was using the multi placer very closely, basically sliding each line down the edge of the previous placement. This would result in a lot of gapping since I placed them too tight.

This was an excellent learning piece for me: place multiplacers by grid, not previous placement. This reduces the size of the gaps.

Overall, tons of fun and I thoroughly enjoyed! On to the next piece!

I absolutely fell in love with this artist the first time I laid eyes on Star Maker. The drills are lovely. The background has the perfect amount of color blocking and confetti. I am enjoying every minute. I did have a little fun adding glow in the dark enhancements on the tiger. Thank you Diamond Art Club for having the best in class kits.

I received this kit as a gift last year and finally got around to working on it. It is an older version of the kit, so it came with different tools and materials than the newer kits do. But it wasn't inferior at all! I didn't really notice much difference in quality besides the tools. The diamonds were all fairly uniform, well made, and easy to use. DAC did a really good job designing this to reflect the original art-- I am a fan of the artist on Twitter and was really happy to get this kit.

This is the first diamond painting I've done and it was a blast. It's probably not the best to do as a beginner, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. The art is absolutely beautiful.

This was my first square drill ever! I loved watching this canvas come to life! Took me just a month to do but hey….first square drills not to bad of time! I absolutely love the artist Yuumei ! I hope she keeps the All animal prints coming!

Star Maker is such a stunning canvas. I really enjoyed working on it. This is the first kit that I’ve added enhancements to with crystals which was fun and it came out great!
