I loved this piece, because of how large it is it really feels like I’m looking through a window into and I’m blow away by how gorgeous it is too look at. I think that the diamonds really bring it to life and make it mesmerizing to look at.

I love this piece, I picked it because of the landscape but it being framed in a window really adds to how wonderful it is. I love that when I look at it I feel like I’m looking through a real window because of the size and I find the contrast of the blues of the forest and the browns of the window frame really draw you to the center.
So, this is my first square project, first DAC project and 3rd total diamond art painting. My last project was an advanced round project that turned out absolutely beautiful. So beautiful, I paid to frame it. I was so excited to start this project as I’ve been to Neuschwanstein and was looking forward to reminiscing while completing this project. I am not finished yet, I’ve got about 1/6 to go. I hate this project! I’ve said it! It’s taken everything to try and complete it. I don’t know if it’s me or I got a bad product. I hate the squares, they do not line up perfectly and it drives me nuts. The drills seem like different sizes to my eye. At this point, I’m just resigned to finish it. I was spoiled by my past project quality of drills. Also, I don’t like the sticky finish of the canvas, I don’t think it’s sticky the same as my past projects. The drills move and slide on it. Again, not sure if this is just me. I purchased 3 total canvas and don’t see myself competing the other 2. As I will go back to round drills. This project has taken the joy out of my newish hobby.

I chose this piece as I know it is a castle my daughter loves, being a history teacher, this is a castle that Hitler used for a time. It is truly stunning and I might just keep it for myself.
