About the artist

Dakota Daetwiler

After a fire burned down her first gallery in Fortuna, CA and Covid closed the second in nearby Ferndale, Ms. Daetwiler packed up her family and moved to Maine. There, with her nine chickens and a dog, she paints things the way she sees them, creating windows into other worlds through imaginative storytelling. She is a self taught artist whos work often contains hidden elements and a twist or two if you look closely.

Fantastisch

An diesem Bild zu arbeiten war einfach super. Die Steine und Motiv war qualitativ sehr hochwertig wie immer. Das Format ist einfach super. Ich mag Bilder im Hochformat. Es ist schmal aber dafür lang. Massive, Yet Stunning Canvas!

This painting was a joy to work on with its vibrant colors and beautiful rendering. Be aware of the size though, it is quite long! DAC did a fantastic job getting the texture and colors of the kraken just right. Would highly recommend this painting to anyone willing to work on a massive canvas.
