Since a very young age, Enys Guerrero dedicated most of her time to the visual arts; always influenced by historical moments, such as the Renaissance and the Victorian era. At the same time, fantasy, occultism and tragedy have been another great source of inspiration for her. She graduated at the age of 19 as a Graphic Designer and since then started her artistic career, focused mainly on traditional techniques, with a great predilection for watercolors and colored pencils.

My favourite painting so far. Gorgeous colours, I live the pink! The purple crystal drills give it a ‘wet’ look that is so fitting. I would do this one all over again if I could! Picture and video just don’t do it justice :)

This is a very nice size. And anything Enys Guerrero I really like.
She is absolutely beautiful and one of the better rendered of Enys Guerrero’s art. BUT…let’s chat about quality control in drills. I have definitely had worse round drills from them but these still aren’t as good as they were 2 or so years ago. A bunch had pinprick holes in them that you wouldn’t see until placed and then the light from the lightpad would shine through. 310 was full of resin blobs and detritus along with tabby drills. I’m tired of the excuses about “mass production” because again, 2 + years ago I was not having to pick through drills like this no matter what color it was. A lot of the crystals had messed up silver backing that you wouldn’t see until placed, then when you’d pick them off to get a better one and it’d leave a ring of silver on the canvas. A little quality control could go a long way in customer satisfaction.

I completed this while unexpectedly being hospitalized. As I worked on it daily, the nurses would come in to check my progress. As a result, several of them have ordered their own and the head nurse ordered a painting to put in the break room to give the nurses something relaxing to do on their breaks. This beautiful painting inspired many.
