Julia Watkins
"Julia Watkins, known as Energy Artist Julia, was what many considered a young prodigy, attending art school (NC State School Of Design) and taking graduate level painting classes at the age of 16. By 19 she was training under some of the most acclaimed master painters in portrait art at the NYC Art Student’s league. While she studied art, she supported herself working as an international model for names such as Channel and Yves Saint Laurent, gaining important “fashion sense” which is evident in her current art and jewelry designs. In 2003 she had an epiphany. Turning her back on a traditional art career she began focusing on creating art which emits positive energies and feelings as a means of emotional discovery and healing. The result was an outpouring of unique, highly creative pieces, focusing on energy swirls, while other paintings delved into the concept of energy orbs. The paintings have often been described as alluring, mesmerizing, energetic, magical, and hypnotic. "

How to use
This meditative craft involves placing hundreds of sparkling resin rhinestones, one-by-one, on an adhesive color-coded canvas to create a vivid, shimmering work of art.
Step 1
Dip the tip of the applicator tool into the strip of wax
Step 2
Pick up each diamond by pressing the applicator to the diamond’s rounded, faceted side
Step 3
Apply each diamond to the adhesive canvas template, placing it based on the color-coded chart
