About the artist

Joelle McIntyre

Joelle holds a BFA in Illustration/Visual Design from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth's School of Visual & Performing Arts. She is passionate about creating challenging puzzle compositions and painting in miniature. She is inspired by the 16th century Dutch still life painters and the Art Nouveau Movement. Joelle and her family, including a terrier named “Polly,” make their home and studio in Johnston, Rhode Island.

Drills Dont Fit

Unfortunately I couldn’t complete this canvas as I got half way through and the beads wouldn’t fit. Will have to wait until it’s back in stock. Was really looking forward to finishing. Alas! It wasn’t to be. Gorgeous colours though

How to use

This meditative craft involves placing hundreds of sparkling resin rhinestones, one-by-one, on an adhesive color-coded canvas to create a vivid, shimmering work of art.

Step 1

Dip the tip of the applicator tool into the strip of wax

Step 2

Pick up each diamond by pressing the applicator to the diamond’s rounded, faceted side

Step 3

Apply each diamond to the adhesive canvas template, placing it based on the color-coded chart
