About the artist
Tava Studios
Janet graduated from the School of Visual Arts, followed by study at the Fashion Institute of Technology and Parsons School of Design. In addition to her works in acrylic and oil, she learned and perfected various decorative painting techniques while working at the Karl Mann Studio, adapting ancient Chinese designs for modern use in innovative, award-winning, hand-painted, wallpapers, textiles and murals.

So Pretty and Run to Do!
This worked up really fast and was so pretty to watch it unfold. I donated the finished product so wanted to frame it inexpensively which I knew I wanted a pink frame for it. I could not find a pink magnetic frame so I got a plain wooden one and painted it pink, I think it turned out very nice!

Love the colors
There are two dp events on Facebook in February that I can participate in with this painting. One is Ticket to Ride and the other is Love for All Seasons, so this is my next project. I can’t wait. How to use
This meditative craft involves placing hundreds of sparkling resin rhinestones, one-by-one, on an adhesive color-coded canvas to create a vivid, shimmering work of art.
Step 1
Dip the tip of the applicator tool into the strip of wax
Step 2
Pick up each diamond by pressing the applicator to the diamond’s rounded, faceted side
Step 3
Apply each diamond to the adhesive canvas template, placing it based on the color-coded chart
