About the artist

Christopher Lovell

Christopher Lovell is a self-taught, Welsh artist - based in the UK - who grew up on sci-fi, cartoons, fantasy books and toys. The nostalgia of these still triggers his imagination and pours into his art. As a traditional, fantasy artist, Christopher built his career designing illustrations for bands and T-shirt companies, and is now focusing on his own personal work, creating art without limitations. His hope is to build an educational platform that will inspire like-minded artists to develop their skills and pursue their own careers in art.

The rendering on this one!!!

Wow! The rendering on this canvas is AMAZING! DAC continues to amaze me! This is one of my favorite artists and I appreciate the variety in styles. The fairy dust diamonds are so pretty.. I hope DAC continues to bring out new drills. This picture took me five days to complete! Mostly color blocking so it came together quickly! I have almost all this artists pictures and can’t wait for more!

Breathtakingly Beautiful

She’s so much prettier now that she’s completed. This one was a bit of slow go for me because I love myself some confetti but there was a lot of color blocking for me.

How to use

This meditative craft involves placing hundreds of sparkling resin rhinestones, one-by-one, on an adhesive color-coded canvas to create a vivid, shimmering work of art.

Step 1

Dip the tip of the applicator tool into the strip of wax

Step 2

Pick up each diamond by pressing the applicator to the diamond’s rounded, faceted side

Step 3

Apply each diamond to the adhesive canvas template, placing it based on the color-coded chart
