My life with kitties is never dull.I never thought I would be doing paintings of cats. After we got our first cat, Miss Joshua, many ideas began to evolve. She inspired a whole new direction in my work. Up to that point, I was primarily focused on creating fantasy art. My background is illustration, art direction and game design. I'm most known for my painting and art direction on the "Mystery Case Files" series of hidden object / adventure games published by Big Fish Games. My work has been published by major corporations such as Disney, Pixar, Warner Brothers, DreamWorks, EA Games, Blizzard/Activision, Big Fish Games, American Airlines, Texas Instruments, Pepsi-cola, Frito-lay and Bic pens. I spend most of my time painting images of my world inspired by my cats. My work developed from strong influences of Art Nouveau, Classical Realism, and a well developed sense of childlike Haynie wonder. Stories emerge as I work usually pointing to a symbolic message to inspire hope and faith.

I did this kit for my mom for Christmas. I absolutely loved working on it. I don't normally work on partials but this one was perfect as it didnt take long to complete. My mom loved it! 😍

This is classed as a beginners kit and I would class it as intermediate due to being partial it is harder to keep straight and has a lot of colour changes. I found the lighter colour drills to be smaller than the darker colours for this reason I am rating it 4 out of 5 stars. I didn't get much trash in my drills but did have quite a few stuck together. I did buy this kit more than a year ago and am sure the drills are of better quality now. I changed some of the whiskers to AB's to match the rest of them as they looked out of place being different to the rest. Overall another lovely piece. Completed in 25.5hrs over 7 days.

I just loved working on this painting! He turned out so great! The drills were great and I had plenty of each color. I loved all the colors in his glasses and his whiskers were on point! This painting brings me so much joy!

I had a lot of fun doing this picture! It was just the right size for a rainy week. I was short a few diamonds so I am waiting for those to arrive. I only gave it 4 stars because I was short drills. Otherwise it was perfect. The art was gorgeous!!

But it definitely will not be last. Loved doing this one. It’s a Christmas gift for my 10 year old niece. It was a joy to do. Hope she likes it as much as I do!

This meditative craft involves placing hundreds of sparkling resin rhinestones, one-by-one, on an adhesive color-coded canvas to create a vivid, shimmering work of art.
Step 1
Dip the tip of the applicator tool into the strip of wax
Step 2
Pick up each diamond by pressing the applicator to the diamond’s rounded, faceted side
