Vibrant Colors

I wanted to wait until I finished this painting before leaving a review. This is only my second DP so I am not an experienced painter. I did the entire painting with a ruler, the colors are vibrant and gorgeous. There is two areas of my painting that I’m not happy with, it seems like the drills are “drooping”. I can’t seem to get them to stay in place. Not sure why and I’m not sure if I should redo these areas and if it will make a difference. I will say for certain that if I ever do another painting with a white background that I will wash the drills first. Nothing to do with quality or DAC, I just found that they were quite dusty and there is so much white I kind of feel it looks a bit grayish and dirty. Made this for my daughter and she is thrilled with it. Such a relaxing and rewarding hobby.

How to use

This meditative craft involves placing hundreds of sparkling resin rhinestones, one-by-one, on an adhesive color-coded canvas to create a vivid, shimmering work of art.

Step 1

Dip the tip of the applicator tool into the strip of wax

Step 2

Pick up each diamond by pressing the applicator to the diamond’s rounded, faceted side

Step 3

Apply each diamond to the adhesive canvas template, placing it based on the color-coded chart
