Sarah Richter

Sarah Richter hails from a small village in Germany, where she spent most of her time drawing magical and mythological beings amid the beauty and melancholy of night. Ms. Richter studied and worked in graphic design until 2017, when she achieved her goal of becoming a full-time, freelance illustrator. Sarah’s process typically begins with detailed sketches of nature, in order to make the viewer feel as if her dark creatures and castles really exist.

This one was really cool to work on. I don’t mind the color blocking and the bright reds really stand out. I did this one for my oldest daughter as a surprise for our late Christmas get-together. It sparkles so much, I know she’ll love it!

Multiplacing dream

This kit is a labor of love with all the 310 black but was a perfect way to practice with a multiplacer. There was quite a bit of trash in the 310 black but still had more than enough to finish the project. The AB drills are a wonderful compliment to the lilies.

How to use

This meditative craft involves placing hundreds of sparkling resin rhinestones, one-by-one, on an adhesive color-coded canvas to create a vivid, shimmering work of art.

Step 1

Dip the tip of the applicator tool into the strip of wax

Step 2

Pick up each diamond by pressing the applicator to the diamond’s rounded, faceted side

Step 3

Apply each diamond to the adhesive canvas template, placing it based on the color-coded chart
