After a fire burned down her first gallery in Fortuna, CA and Covid closed the second in nearby Ferndale, Ms. Daetwiler packed up her family and moved to Maine. There, with her nine chickens and a dog, she paints things the way she sees them, creating windows into other worlds through imaginative storytelling. She is a self taught artist whos work often contains hidden elements and a twist or two if you look closely.

Beautiful design. Different than most of the designs you find here. The drills sparkle beautifully and it’s just such a joy to work on it. I finished it within a month. Normally it would take me longer, but I had so much fun working on this one. I will definitely put this one on my wall!
Took me about 3 months with a long break this October to work on Halloween stuff. But it turned out absolutely stunning!

Wow, love this kit it was my unicorn and finally had it it turned out lovely the sparkle is marvelous and the rendering is beautiful it was my first Dakota Daetwiler kit and I just loved every moment of doing this kit.

This was an amazing canvas to work on. It was out of stock when I first saw it, and I missed the next restock. But it was SO worth waiting for!
It IS confetti-heavy, but the finished product is worth all the tray swapping. 11/10 would recommend! 😻
