I really enjoyed working on this, it was large but not too challenging and such a peaceful scene! The glue wasn’t the best, I couldn’t use putty in my pen or the drills would not stick to the canvas. I switched to using wax and that worked better but still struggled in some areas to get the drills off my pen and sticking to my canvas instead. Overall, I still very much enjoyed working on this beautiful artwork.

You will absolutely love this canvas. It was a little daunting to me at first because it’s the biggest one I’ve competed at 44x22, but it is gorgeous. It took me about a month to complete. All the special drills really enhance this scene.

This beauty is big but works up quickly. I loved working with all of the pastel colors. It was a nice change from the darker more neutral landscapes that I gravitate towards.
