I absolutely loved working on Realm of Cats by Barrett Biggers. It had the perfect mix of color blocking and a little bit of confetti to keep things interesting without being overwhelming. The drills were gorgeous—so sparkly and smooth to work with!
The greens really made the forest pop and gave it such a rich, vibrant feel, while the purplish-blue night sky added a dreamy, magical vibe. It felt like I was stepping into a peaceful world just for cats.
This canvas was extra special for me because I did it as a memorial for my cat Wally, who we recently lost. Every section I completed felt like I was honoring him in some small way. Now that it’s finished, it’s more than just a piece of art—it’s a tribute to him, and it means the world to me. This one will always have a special place in my heart.
