I had a great time working on this project. It was the largest one I had done at the time. I did mess up in one spot but that was my fault. The picture is beautiful and the quality is fantastic!

After a fire burned down her first gallery in Fortuna, CA and Covid closed the second in nearby Ferndale, Ms. Daetwiler packed up her family and moved to Maine. There, with her nine chickens and a dog, she paints things the way she sees them, creating windows into other worlds through imaginative storytelling. I loved working on this one, the ocean is one of my favorite subjects. The sparkle is phenomenal, and I LOVE the new frosted drills. They add such a neat feature plus have such a wonderful texture feel when you touch them.
It was also super fun to work on- a great combo of confetti areas with larger areas to fill.

This was such a cool one to do! It's the largest one I've done so far and while it isn't the easier to maneuver sometimes, its all worth it at the end. It all comes together to make this stunning picture and the special gems make it perfect. Took me a bit of time but it was nice being able to work one little section at a time. Honestly, kinda sad I finished it but onto the next project!
It’s like you feel you can hear the waves. 🌊 this is so cool!
