Dakota Daetwiler

After a fire burned down her first gallery in Fortuna, CA and Covid closed the second in nearby Ferndale, Ms. Daetwiler packed up her family and moved to Maine. There, with her nine chickens and a dog, she paints things the way she sees them, creating windows into other worlds through imaginative storytelling. She is a self taught artist whos work often contains hidden elements and a twist or two if you look closely.

Beautiful Eden

I worked on this years after it was gifted to me from my daughter and it was a dream to work on. The quality, glue, drills, everything was still perfect. I did add some enhancements from DP with Sparklers because she deserved some extra bling. She turned out stunning!

Beautiful, but not Perfect

Definitely loved working on this kit, had a great mix of color blocking on the edges and confetti. But not a huge fan of how it was rendered. Felt like the lines were a bit too sharp for the more soft original artwork. I would have also liked to see more ABs charted, but I'm a fan of excessive ABs so more of a personal opinion. Still a huge DAC fan and glad I got this kit and finished it!

This painting was an absolute pleasure to work on and was excellent quality as usual from Diamond Art Club.

The squares fitted together perfectly and the colours are amazing. The Abs and placement made it sparkle even more... 😊 💜
