The fantasy art of Anne Stokes features striking designs and life like portrayals of fantasy subjects. Her art covers a broad range of themes, from the romantic and magical enchanted Forest, to the dark underworld of gothic vampires. Classical topics are reinvented with a strong design and impact, and new creatures are brought to life in a unique and eye catching manner. Anne is originally from London but now lives in the north of England, near Leeds with her son Leo and partner John. She started her art career as a merchandise designer and then worked as a freelance illustrator where she worked on a number of book, game and record products, which included producing concept art and illustrations for Dungeons and Dragons. As Anne’s art career progressed she moved solely into licensing her own creations and expanding the ranges of her fantasy themed paintings. Using symbolism within her pictures to convey meaning Anne’s artworks has been widely acclaimed. Working with Art Ask Agency her many paintings have been licensed on a wide range of products which are on sale worldwide, including T-shirts, posters, book covers, calendars, jigsaws, tarot cards, sculptures, mugs, jewellery and greetings cards. She continues to produce new works and has published several books.

When I saw this dragon I knew I needed it and my instant thought was how funny would it be if I got it in the $70 mystery box I ordered so I waited to get it and when I got my mystery box this beauty was in here I literally screamed thank you so much diamond art club this one canvas alone is worth the $70 I don’t even care about the other three I mean I do but this one ugh I’m obsessed

Like all Anne Stokes work, this image is fantastic. Hats off to the DAC team for the rendering as it added pure magic to the picture, the colour blending was beautiful and there was a good balance of confetti and colour blocking. I would recommend this kit to anyone interested. However, I would say beware of 2 factors, it is quite a large image, although I am not a fast diamond painter by any means, it did take me 131 hours and 55 mins to complete. I would also say it would also help to like blues and greys.
