This was my first mystery kit but I knew I would like it because it's one of Richard's birds! They are all awesome! And it turns out it was one I was hoping would become a painting so I am glad I didn't pass on it!!! Beautiful colors , rendering and just an awesome painting.
This kit was such a joy to work on. This was my second mystery kit and I have every intention to continue buying. I squeezed with delight as each new section of the kit was revealed. Can’t wait for the next one.

I love the Lorenz birds. They are a perfect mix of wonderful colours and whimsical vibes. This was my 3 bird completed. It’s a big canvas and took me just over 50 hours. I’ve completed 2 other Mystery kits and didn’t know which image this was. I truly loved seeing the picture come to life. As usual, the glue and drills for a DAC kit were great. What another great canvas this was to enjoy.
I got this one for 2 reasons, 1 I love the artwork of Richard Lorenz!! and 2 in Jan there is an event coming up with a mystery kit so looking forward to this one!!
