Easy to apply drills, but doesn't stay together

I got this from Walmart, and was excited to do this piece, I love the Peanuts. It's easy applying the drills, but putting this together was hard, and doesn't stay together. I followed the directions, and couldn't get the pieces to snap together, even Snoopy didn't want to stay in the slot. I wanted to spray it with clear glossy spray paint so the drills stay put over time, but I couldn't get it to stay together. I may have to take it apart and glue it together with E600 glue. Everybody else's pictures look good, not sure why mine wouldn't fit together, or stay in the slots.

Gem House -Snoopy wasn't included

hi even though i simply love doing the Diamond art clubs diamond dot paintings but today while shopping at Walmart i saw this and i thought it would be fun to make when i got it home , opening the box everything was included but Snoopy it was a shock knowing how good the company is by including everything they sell the diy project cost was 5 to 6 dollars at least at Walmart. and i know i have no right to asked for a replacement since i'm not a customer of Diamond art club but thank you for listening

Snoopy house with Woodstock

Fun and quick little project. Overall was easy to do however some of the printing is off making it difficult to fit the diamonds properly without everything else shifting. Overall it’s not too noticeable but definitely bugged my ocd.
