After a fire burned down her first gallery in Fortuna, CA and Covid closed the second in nearby Ferndale, Ms. Daetwiler packed up her family and moved to Maine. There, with her nine chickens and a dog, she paints things the way she sees them, creating windows into other worlds through imaginative storytelling. She is a self taught artist whos work often contains hidden elements and a twist or two if you look closely.

Beautiful winter/Christmas themed kit🎄
The drills were good. I enhanced the kit with specialty drills, which added extra sparkle. However, the rendering of her artwork left out a wreath that is in her original painting. This wreath is located on the right of the canvas where 3 red bulbs are hanging from the eaves. The rendering kept the bulbs, but left out the wreath. I added the wreath back in.
A definite pic that will hang year round in my home.

This diamond painting went so quickly. Surprisingly so as there was not a lot of color blocking. It was never boring. The diamonds are so sparkly and well made. I am displaying it on my mantle for the whole Christmas season.

Gorgeous in the snow setting. It is amazing how tiny squares and with the right color can create snow mounds which look so realistic. Used yellow AB for the lamp, extra AB colors in the two pine trees and in the foliage at front of house.

My very first completed diamond art project.
Beautiful scenery and thoroughly enjoyed completing. I much prefer the square drill to the round drill.
