Abraham Hunter, is a self-taught, award-winning artist, highly respected among wildlife conservation groups and fans nationally. Starting to paint at age 12, Abraham progressed from selling his work in local restaurants and gift shops to opening his own gallery and being published, all by the time he was 21. “I’ve always been driven inside by a need to create and immerse myself in the world I was creating. I try to express my deep longing for a perfect world, full of peaceful homesteads, villages, and wildlife, telling stories and expressing my faith with my work.

Winter Solace

I was a bit intimidated by the size, but it went pretty fast. I did about 1/3 single placing checkerboard style and then decided to learn to use multiplacers to speed up the process. There were not a lot of colors where you constantly had to change which was nice and the end result is beautiful.

Winter Solace

I started this one over three months ago, I only work on it about 18 - 20 hours per week. I have the biggest size offered. I'm almost done, probably one more month to finish it. It is just so gorgeous! The colors are amazing and I've really enjoyed this one. Can't wait to seal and frame it.

You can see in my posted picture the unfinished part is covered with quick release.

It's a Winter Wonderland!!

How to use

This meditative craft involves placing hundreds of sparkling resin rhinestones, one-by-one, on an adhesive color-coded canvas to create a vivid, shimmering work of art.

Step 1

Dip the tip of the applicator tool into the strip of wax

Step 2

Pick up each diamond by pressing the applicator to the diamond’s rounded, faceted side

Step 3

Apply each diamond to the adhesive canvas template, placing it based on the color-coded chart
