Textured Stainless Steel Single Placer Tip for Twist and Pick Premium Pens

Twist and Pick Premium Pen Tips are a boost to anyone’s diamond painting supplies. When used in combination with the Diamond Art Club pen barrel, they ***** securely into place and remain firmly attached until needing a refill. The refillable product chamber comes prefilled with DAC’s opaque colorless wax, but I have also successfully refilled the chamber with diamond painting putty once the wax was exhausted. When choosing to do likewise, one should carefully clean out any wax residue prior to refilling with putty. Perhaps the greatest feature is the textured gripping area just below the tip, which ensures smooth effortless twisting to dispense more wax/putty. A gentle twist clockwise triggers dispensing. Follow immediately with an ever so slight counter-clockwise twist to relieve pressure and prevent excessive dispensing. The tip’s steel construction guarantees years of use, which is far superior to brass or plastic tips that easily break.

If using this tip in combination with custom pens, keep in mind that the bore inside the barrel must be long enough to hold the tip plus its wax/putty chamber. The barrel must also be scored so that the tip is twisted, not pushed, into place. The bore hole should be precisely sized to match the tip’s brushing. If the bore hole proves too wide, plumber’s tape or Washi tape can be used to fill the gap and firmly attach.

Fits the twist and pick pen from the toolkit perfectly! I’m a hard placer so I was looking for a durable pen. It feels much more solid than the original placers and the textured surface makes it much easier to twist. I’m going to buy more!

This textured single placer for the newest pen is so much more comfortabel to twist than the sleek single placer.

I bought multiple to use

I have had the non-textured one for awhile now, but it had started to get really difficult with the putty and I wanted a pen filled with red wax as well. I went to purchase another tip then saw DAC had come out with this upgraded tip and had to get it instead. Very glad I did. Works great!
