Although she never had an formal training, Dawn has always had a passion for the arts. After becoming disabled due to a car accident, (she is also a breast cancer survivor), art became even more important part of her life and continues to be her therapy. After working as a director of a non-profit fine arts center for 11 years, her mission is to always give back to the community and others, Dawn resides in Pittsburgh, PA with her husband of 36 years, and enjoys spending time with her family and is especially excited to be a new grandma! Her art is whimsical, unique and filled with special meaning.

Um, this is my first round piece from DAC and was sent as a mystery saver, but there is so much extra space between the diamonds it was more of a struggle than a pleasure b/c of constant shifting and with the mass color blocking it was disappointing to be unable to use my multi placer :(
The picture I uploaded shows how I was able to place 21 gems in the space the grid lays for 20.
If this were my first purchase, I probably wouldn’t buy from DAC again mainly because of how much debris/dust would get stuck on the canvas over time.
But I absolutely loved working on The Wizard with square gems and was super happy :) soo, I made a second purchase, yet now I’m nervous about the spacing on the projects I’m waiting to open for “Christmas” :o
Is this spacing the “norm” for rounds?
